Lifeguard and Leadership Academy

A certification and leadership program for high school and college aged students that integrates American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, CPR/AED training, mental health awareness, mindfulness techniques, and supervised community teaching experience.

Delivered in partnership with Saint Basil Academy, the program is designed not only to certify the next generation of lifeguards, but to develop water safety leaders who carry the M2O method into their communities.

Participants don’t just learn but also teach, passing these life-saving skills on to younger children and helping build a culture of water safety from the ground up.

Impact: Addresses the statewide lifeguard shortage while building a pipeline of mission-aligned, mind-first water safety professionals.
